Chorey-Lès-Beaune
Les Beaumonts 2022
Located at the heart of the Côte de Beaune, the commune of Chorey-Lès-Beaune lies next to Savigny-Lès-Beaune and Aloxe-Corton. The wines here are predominately red.
Origin
Located near Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Chorey-Lès-Beaune lies at the bottom of the slope. Though it has only recently gained recognition (1969), Chorey-Lès-Beaune is a unique appellation as 2/3 of its vines are planted on the flatlands. Located at the foot of the hill and above the national road. This climate is made up of 2 different plots.
It is certainly the difference in height between the parcels bearing this name and the village below on flat land, that is evoked in the second word of this place name: mont.
No doubt Beau is the qualifying adjective that highlights the quality of these parcels and of the wine produced on this slope!

Tasting notes
With its garnet-red color, this wine reveals aromas of red fruits, notes of whole harvests and woody notes. On the palate, the wine is highly concentrated, spicy with cherry flavors and a sensation of sweetness.
